Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Arrival Procedures

Escorting Students to Class

  • No one is permitted to walk children to their classrooms. Please say goodbye to your child in the car or at the front door. We have many staff members to help students get to class.

Drop-off Traffic Pattern

  • Drop-off begins at 9:00 a.m.-to ensure proper attendance, all students should be dropped off by 9:10 a.m.
  • Drive slowly
  • Pull your car forward as far as possible in the drop-off zone. DO NOT STOP ON THE CROSSWALK!
  • Students must exit from the passenger side
  • Do not stop at the crosswalk!

Dismissal Procedures 

Warning bell rings at 3:40 p.m. and dismissal bell at 3:45 p.m.

Pick-up Area (inside the cafeteria)


Buses

  • Students are escorted by staff members in a single file line down the hallway 
  • At the double doors, students are excused to board their bus
  • Students need to walk behind the blue safety lines until they are at their bus door
  • Bus loading areas will be monitored by the staff on duty
  • No toys/balls/food/electronics outside while loading buses

Daycare Vans

  • The front loop is reserved for special needs buses and daycare vans
